Just be warned that I have had way more headages then I have ever wanted at this point. Keep working at yours if you are trying to do this as cheap as possible. I have very little experience with auto tranys and had no clue what tools or any thing else I needed. Today I went to tighten the forward and reverse bands and put these two pieces in. I tried manually running it through the gears and could not get into second ever! I picked up a Govenor and transducer from the dealer. Some times it would get confused and shift to third too soon and then shift right back to first even at 45- 50 mph. (96 1500 46re ) It would run first out way too long and go right to third. I basically was having a lot of trouble shifting to second gear.
